IKO’s High-Precision Linear Slides Offer Smooth and Accurate Positioning

The IKO Precision Linear Slide BSP/BSPG/BSR is a lightweight and compact rolling guide for demanding linear motion applications, suitable for use in measuring equipment, disk drives, integrated circuit (IC) manufacturing, inspection devices, and clean room environments. The slide consists of a U-shaped table (slide unit race) and bed (track rail) available in a wide range of sizes.

The BSP version offers limited linear motion and comes in sizes ranging from 7 to 25 mm widths and 15 to 100 mm track lengths. This non-recirculating ball type slide features a special synthetic resin retainer that snugly secures the balls and eliminates ball contact noise. The BSP achieves extremely smooth and light movement without stick slips in a limited stroke length.

The BSPG model is a non-recirculating ball type slide that includes a built-in rack and pinion and ranges in widths from 12 to 25 mm and track lengths of 25 to 100 mm. A one-piece retainer holds the balls in both rows, while a pinion gear housed in the retainer engages with rack gears fixed on the table and bed to prevent drifting of the retainer in relation to the table and bed. The BSPG offers the same smooth motion as the BSP style.

The BSR recirculating ball type slide offers endless linear motion and comes in widths ranging from 12 to 25 mm and track lengths of 30 to 100 mm. The BSR features a special synthetic resin circulator to recirculate the balls, permitting longer stroke lengths with minimal noise. Custom track lengths are available.

All slides in this series feature balls and raceways made of stainless steel for superior corrosion resistance. Precisely ground raceways minimize noise and enable smooth motion with low friction, ensuring very high positioning accuracy. Slides feature a maximum operating temperature of 120°C and a continuous operating temperature rated to 100° C.
