At IKO, we believe in making a positive impact on our planet and communities and are committed to operating our business in a responsible and sustainable manner. As part of these efforts, we work with EcoVadis to assess our sustainability performance. We're proud to have earned a Bronze EcoVadis Sustainability Rating, placing us in the top 35% of global companies for environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance. We have also implemented various eco-friendly programs at our branches and warehouses, with the goal of rolling out more in the future.

Current Practices

Some of our current environmentally friendly practices include:

Investing in hybrid vehicles.
Implementing recycling programs at our offices and warehouses
Deploying energy-saving, eco-friendly lights in our offices and warehouses.
Participating in Earth Day, Environmental Awareness Month, Zero Emissions Day and Energy Efficiency Day to raise employee awareness.
Promoting meetings via Microsoft Teams, WebEx and other technologies to stay connected while reducing travel.
Creating systems to electronically store and manage documents to reduce paper use.
