Linear Motion

Crossed Roller Ways

Bare rail crossed roller way. The widest CRW catalog, in carbon steel and stainless variants for general precision motion.

The base crossed roller way

Cylindrical rollers crossed orthagonally roll between two precision ground V-grooved linear ways, carrying radial, reverse radial, and lateral load on one assembly. The base CRW family ships as a set of four linear ways and two roller cage assemblies, sized to mount inside the customer's own structure. High carbon steel handles the bulk of industrial work; stainless variants extend the range to corrosive and clean environments.

  • Super precision motion. The combination of precision-ground V-grooves, crossed cylindrical rollers and a non-recirculating rolling guide structure provide smooth low-friction travel with high running accuracy.
  • Carbon steel or stainless. High carbon steel for general industrial duty, stainless steel where corrosion or cleanliness drives material choice.
  • Wide size range. Rail widths from 8.5 to 110 mm cover compact stages through heavy machine slides on a single product family.
