Linear Motion

Linear Way Ball Type

Profile-rail linear guides featuring two rows of recirculating balls with four points of contact for high-rigidity motion in machine tools and industrial automation.

Profile-rail precision at industrial scale

Linear Way Ball Type guides combine a hardened steel rail with a slide unit running on two rows of recirculating balls. The four-point contact construction supports complex loads and resists pitching, yawing, and rolling moments without losing accuracy. The family covers standard and stainless-steel rails, flange- and block-style slide units in standard, long and short slide units, multiple preloads, and IKO's C-lube maintenance-free option for thousands of hours between service intervals.

  • Four-point contact load capacity. Equal load ratings in all four radial directions, plus moment resistance, suit applications where load direction shifts mid-stroke or where loads stack from multiple axes.
  • C-lube maintenance-free option. C-lube slide units integrate a solid lubrication element directly into the carriage, eliminating routine greasing and extending service life in inaccessible installations.
  • Rail, slide unit, and material choices. Order rails and slide units separately to match stroke and footprint. Choose carbon steel or stainless steel construction, flange or block style carriages, standard, long, or short slide units, and clearance, standard, light, or medium preload.
