Linear travel on a thin shaft

LMS is a miniature ball-recirculating bushing that rides on a hardened, round shaft to give linear travel in confined spaces. Bores of 3, 4, and 5 mm fit instrument-scale shafts, standard and long body lengths trade compactness for rigidity, and high carbon steel or stainless steel constructions cover both general industrial and corrosion-sensitive uses. Sealed and unsealed variants ship across the family.

  • Bores 3, 4, and 5 mm. Three thin-shaft bore sizes with bushing lengths from 7 mm to 29 mm cover compact mechanism, instrument, and laboratory applications.
  • Carbon or stainless steel. High carbon steel for general industrial use and stainless steel for clean, or corrosive environments. Both grades carry the same accuracy and load ratings.
  • Sealed or unsealed. Two-end-seal variants block fine debris from the ball train, while open variants run lower friction in clean enclosures.
