Ball Screw Tables

Ball-screw-driven positioning stages for high-thrust, high-load applications where rigidity and lifecycle matter more than peak speed.

Reliable and precise positioning

Ball-screw stages convert rotary motor input into precise linear motion through a recirculating-ball screw and nut. The mechanical advantage of the screw multiplies thrust, increases reliability and precision, and survives high-payload duty cycles. IKO's ball-screw table family covers strokes from 10 millimeters in compact precision modules up to 1,400 millimeters in heavy-duty TU stages — ten series in total spanning instrumentation, machine tool, and inspection applications.

  • High thrust, holds position. Ball-screw mechanical advantage drives heavy payloads with modest motor sizing. Static load holding without brake or holding torque.
  • Ten series for a variety of applications. Compact precision (PD…S, TM), modular utility (TS/CT, TU), and heavy-duty (TSL…M, TSLH…M, TX…M) — selectable by stroke, payload, and integration depth.
  • Pre-engineered as a system. Screw, bearing, frame, and end blocks ship as a tuned assembly. Mount the motor, wire the controller, run the stage.
