Cam followers are stud-mounted bearings that ride directly on a cam, track, or guide rail. Thick outer rings, full-complement or caged roller construction, and hardened raceways absorb high radial loads, shock, and impact. That makes cam followers the workhorse of indexing tables, conveyor systems, and packaging machinery.
