Roller Bearings

General-purpose double-row roller bearings for sheaves, pulleys, and high-load rotary supports outside the cam follower envelope.

Heavy radial loads on a fixed inner race

This family covers IKO roller bearings that mount on a shaft or shaft seat, rather than on a stud or in a drawn shell. Double-row construction in high carbon steel raises load capacity well above shell-type bearings, and full-complement and caged variants cover the trade-off between capacity and speed. Typical uses include sheave and pulley supports, conveyor idlers, and rotary axes that see sustained high radial loads.

  • Double-row capacity. Two rows of rollers in a single bearing carry up to 2,210 kN dynamic on the largest sheave-bearing sizes.
  • Full-complement or caged. Full-complement NAG and NAS pack maximum rolling elements for capacity, while caged NAU and TRU run cooler at higher speeds.
  • Oil-hole and sealed variants. Sheave-duty NAS bearings include an oil hole and seals out of the box, simplifying lubrication on rotating-outer-race installations.
